Close-Up Toothpaste and Maslow Hierarch of Needs
Maslow in his theory, specifically, the hierarchy of needs indicates that there are three critical levels of human needs (James, 2016). The first level of needs is the basic needs level, characterized by the satisfaction of physiological and safety needs, that is, food, rest, warmth, safety and security. The second level of needs involves the psychological needs such as accomplishment and the feeling of prestige; the psychological level of needs also entails achievement of belongingness including the feeling of love (Jonas, 2016). Consequently, there is the self-fulfillment level of needs that mainly involves the achievement of self-actualization.
